UpStair Program

WHO CAN ENROL?

The UpStair program is a specialization in biomanufacturing (30 credits / 1,350 hours) open to students in their first year of the bachelor’s program in chemical engineering at Polytechnique Montréal.

WHAT DOES THE PROGRAM OFFER?

– 270 hours of hands-on lab training in biomanufacturing
– Courses on bioethics, social impacts and the role of engineers in health innovation
– Semester-long internship in an industry or government lab
– Internship stipends for top-performing students

WHO DO I ENROL?

After completing 24 credits of the first year of the standard program, students admitted to the concentration will be selected based on a letter of motivation.
